WILD SWIMMING IN THE RIVER OUSE

What a day out (unless it’s really cold)!

Swimming in the Ouse is fun, free and relaxing for the whole family. Take a trip to the River Ouse via Barcombe and park up to take a walk along the river side to find your plot.

Dogs are also welcome but please make sure they are kept close by as there is livestock on this land.

Bring a picnic and some extra clothes just in case! Just a reminder that the banks are steep so be careful getting in and out (can be a little muddy but fun)!

From the Walk and Cycle website;

“The Sussex Ouse Valley Way follows the course of the River Ouse from its source near Lower Beeding in West Sussex to the sea at Seaford Bay in East Sussex.

The trail passes through diverse and beautiful scenery, including the High Weald and Sussex Downs Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There is a wealth of history and abundant wildlife.”
