About Barcombe Yurts

Home from home camping, a very comfortable option for those preferring not to bring their own tents, sleeping in a proper raised double bed, in one of our 13 canvas and timber pods.

We specialise in family and friends group bookings, either taking the site on an exclusive basis, or in groups of 4 pods.

We have 2 wonderful large Mongolian Yurts, set up as sitting areas, ideal for groups to gather, should the weather be bad.

The Campsite

We have 13 romantic pods which are approximately 4 meters wide with plenty of height, therefore no stooping, laid out with privacy in mind, all with proper double beds and real mattresses. If you are needing extra bedding, we supply top of the range vango self-inflating single mattresses. Our pods are ideal for a couple with two children. A maximum of 4 people per pod. Each pod is furnished with a double bed, mattress protector, pillows and cushions, rugs on the floor, blankets and solar fairy lighting, bed side tables and 2 camp chairs Please note we do not supply sheets, duvets and towels. Each group gets a brazier and barbeque and we can sell you fire wood and charcoal. If you were to take 11 pods we can guarantee the site to yourselves. Our wonderful large Mongolian yurts are perfect as entertainment space and are furnished with sofas, rugs and solar fairy lights and ideal should the weather be bad for groups to gather in. When taking a yurt we provide you with trestle tables and benches and a large cool box.

VW-style campervans are allowed but caravans and larger camper vans and motorhomes are not permitted. If unsure, please email info@yampcamp.co.uk with vehicle details, including size and model.

Can we park by our pitch?

Yes, one car per family unit (4 people) can stay next to the pitch throughout the stay.

Can we have a fire?

Yes, each booking has access to a firepit. Firewood is available on-site for purchase and we accept card or cash. Moving firepits without permission is prohibited. We kindly request that you purchase your firewood from us.

VW-sized campervans and tent-only campers in the same party can all camp together whether woodland camping or glamping. Anyone renting one of our iconic, hassle-free bell tents will also be placed alongside the rest of their party.
